MUCH belated post

Well, Pepper's first birthday has passed, we've been to family parties and to stores and to the dog park. She's really a gorgeous girl, and neither Mike nor I can imagine life without her now.

Holiday Pics

Okay things have been quite crazy around here since my last post. Pepper's now 4 1/2 months old and lovin' the holiday season. And why wouldn't she? She's got leaves, crisp air, lots of wind, roast turkey, turkey soup, turkey pie, turkey casserole...And of course there are holiday pictures. A local shelter ran photoshoots for families and their pups, and we had a very successful day. So here's Pep, ready for the holiday season!

Posting, Working, Reading...

It's been an oddly slow day at the office today, and it's only served to remind me how desperately I need get my newest Pepper pics up. Well...that and actually get some work done...

I did manage a good level of productivity, even while reading the NY Time's live blog from Columbia U where Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke this afternoon and when getting picture texts of Pepper from Mike at home and keeping up on the latest Dave Barry reprint.

So off to use my last few minutes around the office wisely. I'll post again at home--pictures included.

Me and My Teddy...

Pepper's first full day home revealed that her teddy bear won't be the object of any Barney-quality kid's songs. Let's just say that if teddy was alive when she found him, he surely isn't now =D

If there's ever a Gizmo lookalike contest, Pepper might just win.
